DNOTM: Conor McMarsh, Digital Nomad of the Month
Congrats to Conor, La Chancla's September DNOTM!
Our first Digital Nomad of the Month is Conor McMarsh, a 31-year-old from San Francisco who recently rented an Airbnb in Mexico City’s Condesa neighborhood, where he plans to work remotely and take food pics at Taqueria Orinoco for the next 3-4 months. Conor enjoys spending his mornings waiting in line for pastries at Rosetta before heading to Blend Station for 2-3 hours to scroll Instagram, drink Flat Whites and write code for a startup fintech company.
Conor says he is still adjusting to how an exchange rate works though last week said “buenas tardes” for the first time while dining at Lardo, which he considers a sign of personal growth. After work, Conor takes a daily walk in Parque México and is excited to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day on Sept. 16, which he previously thought was Cinco de Mayo.
If you do see Conor—who usually sports a “post-hipster chic” look that consists of a maroon flat-billed cap, blue cotton pants, scuffed white tennis shoes, high gray socks and a wrinkled floral linen button-up shirt—tell him congratulations!
He’s La Chancla’s September DNOTM!
